Robert Olivas named USKA Texas Chapter President
The United States Karaoke Association (USKA) is proud to announce the appointment of Robert Olivas as the new President of the Texas Chapter. Originally hailing from the vibrant El Paso area, Olivas has made a name for himself in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) region, where he has pursued a successful career in finance. His passion for singing and community engagement, however, has become the hallmark of his career over the last two decades.
Robert Olivas’ journey to becoming a prominent figure in the karaoke community is a testament to his resilience and dedication. After sustaining an injury that led him away from his financial career, Olivas turned his lifelong love for music and helping others into a full-time vocation. With over 20 years of experience in the karaoke scene, he has become a beloved figure known for his talent and generosity.

His infectious enthusiasm and commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment have made him a natural leader within USKA.

As President of the Texas Chapter, Olivas plans to expand the reach and impact of USKA by organizing events starting with the Karaoke Cup that celebrate the diverse talents of karaoke enthusiasts across the state. His vision includes creating platforms for both seasoned performers and newcomers to showcase their skills, while also promoting the therapeutic benefits of music.
