Born and raised in the Yakima Valley, Yuri started his karaoke beginnings listening and singing along to songs on the school bus on Yakima's radio station, 107.3 KFFM. From there, Yuri has gone from shower singer, Seattle's Best Karaoke regular and now a common face at Seattle's Kona Kitchen during karaoke nights on Fridays and Saturdays. Some of Yuri's favorite artists he loves to sing to are Edwin McCain, Bruno Mars, Madonna, and Ed Sheeran.
