About

Whitney-John Stuart brings nearly four decades of entertainment experience to his role as CEO of the United States Karaoke Association. Beginning his singing journey at the age of eight with the BC Boys Choir eventually touring North America and Europe multiple times as a Soprano and Tenor soloist. He also performed with the Vancouver Opera. He signed his first record contract at eighteen and went on to front several rock bands. In addition to his music career, Mr. Stuart has appeared on several U.S. television shows and has served as Master of Ceremonies at over 1,000 live music events.

With more than a decade immersed in the world of competitive karaoke, Mr. Stuart distinguished himself early as the 2012 KWC Canadian Men's National Champion, finishing sixth globally that same year. In 2013, he transitioned into leadership, overseeing both the Canadian and U.S. national karaoke programs. Under his guidance, these teams secured numerous Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals over four years. In 2016, he became the first producer to bring the Karaoke World Championships to the Americas. Following his departure from KWC at the end of 2016, he founded the World Karaoke Tour and served as its inaugural Commissioner.

Beyond his work in music and karaoke, Mr. Stuart has owned a live music venue and promoted concerts on the West Coast for more than a decade. In 1999, he co-founded TheBilliardChannel.com, the first website to livestream pool matches worldwide. He has also served on the board of directors for three trading companies and is a graduate of the Columbia Academy Radio and Television program.
