About

My family was a musical family. My Mom was choir mistress at her church, and Dad played multiple instruments including violin, mandolin, organ, piano and guitar. I grew up singing in church choir from 4th grade through college. I also sang in high school and then in college choir at Lindenwood in St. Charles. Since college I’ve sang with three choirs: Gateway Men’s Chorus, Black Tulip Chorale, and St. Louis Symphony Chorus. I’ve been the featured vocalist in regional bands: Underrated X, Vendetta Sonata, Kind Fire, Shotgun Abby, and toured Nationally with the Raggedblade Band playing venues from festivals to nursing homes. My music genres have covered many styles from Ragtime, Jazz, Blues through Hard & Progressive Rock. Past vocal coaches included: Cynthia Benavides, Katherine Cuba, and Jon Garrett. I’ve been doing karaoke since I was 20, and have kj’d multiple times over the years. My go to artist list includes: Josh Groban, George Michael, Journey, Guns N Roses, Styx, Kenny Rogers, Colin Raye, Scorpions, and Garth Brooks. I’m thankful to be competing in the IKF competition and amongst some incredibly talented folks.
