I'm always hesitant with my ability to write bios so I originally used ChatGPT and decided it's time for a more personal update.

My entire life I've been awestruck by the magic of music; from the physical aspects to the emotional impact. The kid that went everywhere with her portable CD player in elementary school. A karaoke machine in my bedroom and clarinet in band in middle school. Singing and sometimes leading worship in church and taking mixed choir because even though I made concert choir it didn't fit my schedule in highschool. Absolutely can't forget downloading songs on limewire and making my own mixed CDs followed by fights over who's controlling the aux cord in the car.

Enter 9 year toxic relationship and I slowly stopped singing unless it was me in the car with the exception of like two people. When that ended in 2022, I met one of my now partners and went to karaoke with him, my sister, my friend, and her sister. The plan: just gonna watch, I want to sing karaoke eventually but that's going to take time! Reality: the day before we were supposed to go my ex walked upstairs while I was singing "Dancing Queen" and feeding our baby, then asked her if Mommy was trying to burst her eardrums. I was so livid I decided right there, doesn't matter how many shots it takes, we're getting on the stage the following night AND WE DID!!!

A year later, I was talked into entering the first IKF contest and much to my surprise I made it to venue finals! Went from thinking I couldn't actually sing to making venue finals a year later was the confidence boost I needed. Competing began as a "hey, why not" and quickly became the community I needed! I keep entering competitions for the personal growth as well as support and improving my vocal abilities. I'm so excited to be part of such an incredible group of fellow karaoke lovers
