From a very young age, there likely hasn’t been a day gone by where Maevis hasn’t sang. Whether it’s singing to herself at work, having a full-on concert for her cat in her room, or performing on a stage when she gets the chance, singing is inevitable.

Maevis has also been writing songs since her elementary school days, inspired by musical ballads that made her feel as if she was connecting with a friend. She strives to write with vulnerability, and in doing so, she’s discovered that songwriting can be a transformative tool in processing her emotions.

In 2021, Maevis was invited to record harmony parts for a band called “Stickerberry Pie”. She is currently still singing harmonies for them, and occasionally plays the piano or guitar. She is featured as the lead vocalist on two songs written by Tony Rust.
