About
Artina – Vocal Powerhouse & Performer
Artina's musical journey began at the tender age of two, when her natural talent for singing first emerged. A true lover of all genres—from Gospel to Country—there isn’t a song she can’t make her own. Her father, a pastor, recognized her gift early on and knew that once she had a microphone in hand, she was unstoppable.
Throughout her school years, Artina was an active member of every choir she could join—from elementary through high school—showcasing her dedication to the craft. After graduating, she briefly explored piano, inspired by her mother’s musicianship. Although her time with the instrument was short-lived, it gave her a strong foundation in reading music.
Artina’s first professional performance came with the band Class ACT, where she performed a two-day gig at Riverwind Casino—an experience that marked the beginning of a vibrant career. Since then, she has shared the stage with iconic gospel artists such as Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, James Fortune, Tamela Mann, and many others. She has also performed with The Friends Corral and competed on shows including How Sweet the Sound, The Voice (second round), and American Idol (first round), winning numerous local talent competitions along the way.
Her artistic expression extends beyond music—Artina has also appeared in stage productions such as The Color Purple and various local theater performances. With a voice that captivates and a presence that commands the spotlight, Broadway is the next natural step for this dynamic performer.
