Duncan Wallace appointed USKA Oklahoma State Chapter President

Oklahoma City, OK — The United States Karaoke Association (USKA) is proud to announce Duncan Wallace as the first-ever President of the Oklahoma Chapter. This appointment marks a significant milestone for the USKA as it expands its reach into the heart of the Midwest, bringing competitive karaoke to new heights in the Sooner State.

Duncan Wallace, the reigning 2024 IKF Karaoke Cup World Champion, brings a wealth of talent, passion, and vision to his new role. Reflecting on his appointment, Duncan shared: “I am excited and ready to bring the IKF & USKA to the great state of Oklahoma! Being a part of this past year as a competitor, was an unbelievable experience! From the leadership team, to the production staff, down to each director and competitor, it is a top-tier organization. Our beliefs about the sport of karaoke, as well as the way to run the business, are aligned, and it’s a privilege to be the 1st ever Oklahoma Chapter President. I am humbled and thankful.”

USKA President Robin “Sissi” Mercer expressed her enthusiasm for Duncan’s appointment, stating:
“Duncan embodies the spirit and excellence that the USKA stands for. His journey from competitor to World Champion and now a key leader in our organization is truly inspiring. We are thrilled to have him spearhead our efforts in Oklahoma and are confident that under his leadership, the state will become a powerhouse in competitive karaoke.”

As Oklahoma Chapter President, Duncan will oversee the development of IKF and USKA programs across the state, including the implementation of state-level competitions, partnerships with local venues, and outreach to aspiring karaoke enthusiasts. This effort is part of the USKA’s larger vision to cultivate the sport of karaoke nationwide, making it accessible, competitive, and inclusive for all.
