USKA Announces Michele Taylor as Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships

The United States Karaoke Association (USKA) is proud to announce the appointment of Michele Taylor as its new Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships.

In this role, Michele will help lead USKA’s nonprofit funding and growth efforts by developing new sponsorship opportunities, cultivating donor and community relationships, pursuing grant opportunities, and building strategic partnerships that support the organization’s long-term mission and national expansion. Michele brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience in enterprise transformation, program delivery, and strategic change management, along with a strong background in community leadership, fundraising, and event planning.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, USKA is committed to advancing karaoke across the United States by creating opportunities for singers of all ages and backgrounds, building community through performance, and elevating competitive karaoke through professionally organized events and programs. The addition of Michele marks an important step forward as USKA continues to expand its reach and impact.

“Michele Taylor brings exactly the kind of passion, professionalism, and forward-thinking leadership that USKA needs in this next chapter of growth,” said Whitney-John Stuart, CEO of the United States Karaoke Association. “As we continue building new programs, expanding nationwide, and creating more opportunities for singers and communities, Michele will play a vital role in helping us secure the partnerships and resources needed to move our mission forward.”

In her new position, Michele will work closely with USKA leadership to strengthen the organization’s development strategy, increase nonprofit sustainability, and create meaningful partnerships with businesses, sponsors, foundations, and community supporters who believe in the power of music, performance, and community connection.

Reflecting on her new role, Michele shared, “Singing has a unique way of bringing people together, it builds confidence, creates connection, and provides a powerful outlet for expression. I’m passionate about expanding opportunities for individuals of all backgrounds to experience that impact, and I’m excited to help grow USKA into a national platform that supports both community and personal well-being.”

Her appointment comes at a pivotal time for USKA as the organization continues to build new national programs, strengthen its state chapter network, and expand opportunities for singers through local, regional, national, and international competition pathways. Through her work, Michele will help support USKA’s broader mission of using karaoke not only as entertainment; but as a vehicle for confidence, connection, personal growth, and community engagement.
