USKA Appoints Michael Thompson as Ohio Regional Director
The United States Karaoke Association (USKA) is proud to announce the appointment of Michael Thompson as Ohio Regional Director, a key leadership role within the organization’s expanding national structure.
In this position, Thompson will oversee the development, coordination, and growth of USKA-sanctioned events throughout Ohio. His responsibilities will include supporting local venues, working closely with state partners, ensuring competition standards are upheld, and helping identify and develop the next generation of competitive karaoke talent across the region.
“Michael brings experience, professionalism, and a deep understanding of competitive karaoke,” said Whitney-John Stuart, CEO of the United States Karaoke Association. “Ohio is the home of the USKA, and Michael is exactly the kind of leader we want representing our brand and our mission at the regional level.”
Thompson has been an active and respected figure within the karaoke community, known for his commitment to fair competition, singer development, and community engagement. His appointment reflects USKA’s continued focus on building strong regional leadership as the organization expands its competitive programs nationwide.

The United States Karaoke Association is the official governing body for competitive karaoke in the United States, working in partnership with the International Karaoke Federation to establish standardized competitions, rankings, and national championship events.
