Who We Are

WHO WE ARE

The United States Karaoke Association’s mission, vision and values guide the organization. We exist to create and cultivate opportunities for participation and achievement in karaoke. We foster fun and inspire a lifelong passion for singing while developing champions on and off the ice.

OUR MISSION

The United States Karaoke Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to further grow and promote Karaoke throughout the United States. To develop Karaoke at all levels and ages, promote the health and social benefits of singing through Karaoke, organize national and international competitions, and make, amend, and uphold the rules and regulations of competitive Karaoke in the United States.

OUR VISION

The vision of the United States Karaoke Association is that Karaoke throughout the country is fun, fair, and locally accessible for an energetic community of singers, supporters, and event directors, and is represented by highly successful vocal athletes competing on the local, national, and world stage. We’re here to govern and develop Karaoke in the United States, from grassroots participation through to World Championships.

Competitive Karaoke is an amazing sport. Anyone can perform; whatever their motivation or ability, from all communities and backgrounds. At any age and for a whole lifetime, Karaoke provides physical, social, and mental rewards both on and off the stage.

We want Karaoke to be open to as many people as possible, across the whole of America.

Volunteers, coaches, officials, clubs, and venues all play an essential role in the future of our sport; without them, Karaoke can’t exist. We’re committed to providing them with the right investment and support and celebrating their wonderful work.

We want to engage with thousands of fans so that we can bring them closer to the sport, offering new ways for them to enjoy and get the most out of Karaoke.

We will continue to deliver a standout calendar of major Karaoke events; from the USKA National Championships to the Karaoke Cup and the World Championships. We want to take singing to new areas, so as many people as possible can watch world-class Karaoke action.

We are here to help many more people pick up a microphone, whether it’s for the first time, or the first time in a while. We want to enable men and women of all ages and abilities to sing more often, all year round.

Starting early is crucial to singing for the long term. We will build new relationships with schools and local communities, so more kids and young people than ever before can pick up a microphone.

We are committed to delivering a clearer route for singers to develop – from starter sessions with accredited coaches to first-class support at our National Academy. Our Singer Pathway is designed to find and nurture the next generation of champions, with a particular focus on enabling young singers to achieve their goals, win medals at the World Championships, and in turn, inspire fans across the nation.
